05th January 2021 – Update
As you know the Government has introduced the third UK lockdown in an effort to control the current pandemic. In order to ensure that we are in full compliance with the requirements placed upon training establishments we have undertaken a thorough review and risk assessment of our current operating procedures in full consultation with the appropriate accrediting bodies.
We are pleased to announce that as a result of the measures implemented here at Goldcross we have been permitted to continue delivering our classroom-based course schedule albeit that we have made some slight alterations in regard to the delivery of training in some of our training facilities, as detailed below:
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause our customers within the Ashford and Northampton area’s but we hope you will understand that it is important that we all play our part in combating the spread of the virus. You should also be aware that we have significantly increased our ‘Remote On-line’ course schedule in order to ensure that all of our customers, no matter where they are located, have access to our training to the training we provide.
Once again we would like to take this opportunity to thank all recent and current course delegates who have supported the special measures that it has been necessary to put in place in order to allow the continued operation of our classrooms and also to reassure potential delegates that they can have confidence in the measures that we have put in place.
Please rest assured that here at Goldcross Training we will continue to provide you with the highest quality training with the largest selection of dates possible (including weekends) so why not take a look at our Complete Course Shedule which includes both our classroom and On-line remote delivered courses!

21 October 2020 – Update
Having undertaken an appropriate risk assessment all delegates (and clients booking courses on behalf of delegates) should be aware that due to the Covid-19 outbreak the wearing of face coverings is mandatory for all delegates whilst within a Goldcross building. This is due to the nature of the enclosed environment and the prolonged period of time that individuals will be in contact with each other whilst undergoing training.
If delegates have a health condition that exempts or precludes them from wearing a face covering we would recommend that they consider booking an alternative course listed in our remote delivery schedule located here, as they will not be permitted access to a Goldcross training establishment if they cannot meet this requirement.
If you wish to discuss this or any of the previously mentioned Covid prevention measures implemented by Goldcross then please ensure that you contact the Goldcross office at: bookings@goldcross-training.com as soon as practicably possible and at least 10 days prior to the course start date. Where this is not possible due to a late booking you must contact the office by telephone on: 0203 633 5505 at the earliest possible opportunity.

01 June 2020 – Update
Following notification from our accreditation bodies our training centres are now open and our classroom-based schedule is now in operation!
However, based on the fact that we need to ensure:
the number of delegates that we can accept per course is greatly reduced and as such we would recommend that delegates book as early as practicably possible!
Additionally as our ‘online training’ is proving extremely successful and as there is still clearly considerable demand we are also continuing to provide our CITB Site Safety Plus ‘online’ Courses via Zoom. Delegates wishing to take advantage of this will need to have downloaded the ‘Zoom Client App’ and have familiarised themselves with the software prior to the course start date.
Our online booking service remains fully operational both for ‘online’ and ‘classroom based’ courses and you can contact the office directly on: 0203 633 5505 or via: bookings@goldcross-training.com

20 May 2020 – Update
As a result of ongoing demand we are now providing a range of CITB Site Safety Plus ‘online’ Courses via Zoom. Delegates wishing to take advantage of this will need to have downloaded the ‘Zoom Client App‘ and have familiarised themselves with the software prior to the course start date.
We do however understand that for many this will not be their preferred option and as such we will be opening our training centre’s as soon as practicably possible – in line with Government guidance and once permitted by the relevant awarding/accrediting bodies.
Our online booking service remains fully operational both for ‘online’ and ‘classroom based’ courses and you can contact the office directly via: bookings@goldcross-training.com

09 May 2020 – Update
The Government will be releasing its updated guidance tomorrow (Sun 10th May) after which we will review all the available options open to us in an effort to bring you the necessary and appropriate level of training. This may well include an option to undertake some training courses online until such times as our training centre’s are permitted to open as normal.

16 April 2020 – Update
As you are no doubt aware the latest Government instruction has extended the current ‘lockdown’ for a further three week period.
Our first priority has been and continues to be, the safety of our staff and delegates, and as such all of our courses will remain suspended until Monday 11th May in line with the instruction, government guidance and recommendations.
Please note that our online booking system remains fully functional and is open for business throughout this period.
We fully appreciate that this will be a continued disappointment for our customers, however we would like to reassure you all that all current bookings will be honoured and that we will do our utmost to ensure that they are transferred to a date that is suitable to you at the earliest opportunity.
Clearly this continues to be a very difficult period for most companies and individuals however we all owe a duty of care to each other and as such we consider this to be be the only viable option at this time. We have been and will continue to work with the various accrediting bodies in an effort to ensure that we can open our training center’s for normal business as soon as practicably possible.
Please continue to keep yourselves and your families safe and we look forward to welcoming you back to Goldcross as soon as practicably possible.

After further reviewing the current situation we have decided that it is in the interest of everyone’s health and safety to suspend all of our courses until Monday 20th of April in line with government guidance and recommendations.
We fully appreciate that this will be a disappointment for many individuals however, we would like to reassure you all that all current bookings will be honoured and that we will do our utmost to ensure that they are transferred to a date that is suitable to you at the earliest opportunity.
We would also like to reassure you all that we will re-open for business as normal, as soon as practicably possible, in line with Government guidance – Of note is that our online booking system will remain fully functional throughout this period.
This will without doubt be a very difficult period for most companies and individuals however we all owe a duty of care to each other and we would hope that you our customers understand our reasoning in this respect.
