Our First Aid at Work Requalification training course is delivered by our in-house qualified and experienced instructors, in accordance with HSE requirements. Goldcross Training runs the First Aid at Work Requalification 2 day course frequently to meet the needs of its delegates. We understand that many individuals cannot afford to take time off during the week and for this reason you will find this first aid at work two day course runs both during the week and at weekends. A full range of First Aid at Work Training Courses can be undertaken at one of our Training Centre’s throughout Central & South East England and we are able to provide for in-house courses at your organisations venue should that be preferable. Potential delegates should be aware that our First Aid at Work Requalification 2 day courses are specifically designed for individuals who have already qualified as First Aiders through the completion of the First Aid at Work (FAW) 3 day course. The First Aid at Work Requalification course is delivered over a 12 hr minimum, (2 day) period, and involves both practical and theoretical activities.
The Goldcross First Aid at Work Requalification training programme utilises a variety of teaching techniques to meet the needs of individuals and upon completion delegates will have a greater understanding of the requirements in delivering and managing first aid at work to the appropriate level.

The compressed nature of this course requires all delagates to have already qualified in First Aid at Work (FAW). A basic level of general fitness is also required to enable the physical procedures detailed in the course syllabus to be undertaken. Assessment is undertaken by the tutor throughout the course and the completion of a short multiple choice question paper. Upon successful completion a certificate with a validity of three years will be issued to those who satisfy the criteria. Delegates are reminded however that the Health and Safety Executice (HSE) strongly recommend that all First Aider’s undergo an annual refresher programme of at least three hours.
Individuals are required to have reached the minimum age of 16 years in order to undertake a role as a ‘First Aider in the Workplace’ and it is the employers responsibility to ensure that all individuals undertaking such a role meet competence requirements.
