This course covers the following areas:
• Identification, management and control of workplace hazards
• Managing health and safety
• Practical application of health and safety theory in the workplace
There are three modules in this course: NGC1, GC2 and GC3.
The first two modules, NGC1 and GC2 are taught theory modules and they are assessed through two-hour examinations. Each exam incorporates ten short questions and a single longer question and candidates should complete them all. All candidate papers are marked by external examiners who are selected and appointed by NEBOSH.
The final module, GC3, is the practical element of the course. It is assessed through a two-hour practical test which takes place in the workplace of the candidate. The practical exam is assessed internally by the course provider and then it is externally moderated by NEBOSH themselves.
Course delegates can re-sit assessments at the next possible opportunity if you have failed or been absent from the assessment with good reason. You are not automatically re-entered, so you must notify the course administrator of your intention to re-sit by contacting admin@goldcross-training.com. If it is agreed, you will receive confirmation of the decision once your request has been considered.
There will be a fixed administration fee of:
- £100 for each module to be re-attempted.
- £75 for each ‘Practical assessment’ provided for.
Any re-sits authorised will be in accordance the accrediting body scheme rules
