There are no accademic pre-requisites to undertaking the CITB SMSTS course other than you must have a good understanding of spoken and written English. The CITB SSSTS course is manageable for the majority of delegates. Whilst the course covers everything needed to pass the exam, we would however recommend that delegates have a good understanding/knowledge of construction site safety and where possible have previously successfully completed the CITB Health & Safety Awareness course.
